| Designation | Team Leader - Supply Chain - Industrial Air Division (IAT) | | Job Description | • Ensure that the objectives of entire order planning process from Level meeting to completion of customer orders are fulfilled
• Coordinate customer Inspections with advance planning
• Improve the efficiency of assembly line by optimizing the available resources in order to increase the flexibility of production and reduction of lead time of the finished products
• Control Work In progress and Finished good inventory by ensuring regular cycle counts and close follow-up with Customer Center
• Track the rejections if any & take timely actions to avoid stock discrepancies.
• Co-ordinate with sourcing , quality control, stores & other functions of flow team for in time material availability
• Conceptualize and implement measures in operating procedures to optimize resource/ capacity utilization
• Plan and monitor local and import components at right time without creating stock out or excess inventory.
• Periodic reporting of Supply Chain Metrics like OR, OI, OOH, LT etc
• Periodic submission of supply & inventory related reports to Flow Team Manager | | Desired Profile | Experience requirements
4-6 yrs of experience in production planning, manufacturing or supply chain function.
Knowledge
- Good knowledge of order processing and execution
- Good operating knowledge of BPCS / MS Office preferred.
Educational requirements
Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering
